An Avenger is focused, he is ready to serve Justice “cum Vis Incita “! (Latin: “with Swift Force”). Since before the dark ages, clandestine “Avengers” sought retribution for wrongs against humanity. Immortalized in age old myths, the heroes of the night may very well have had more factual exploits then fiction may recount. However history is vague in the earliest sagas…. So who really knows?  

The unique upswept styling of our BattleCore Dark Avenger Sword instills the essence of these tales and bestows empowerment, for the silhouette is enough to cause to instill fear in the guilty due to its menacing serrated full tang high carbon steel blade! But it doesn’t stop there! Our BattleCore Dark Avenger Sword sports a blade at both ends (instead of a traditional pommel) which doubles the destructiveness. A secondary 3” serrated blade protrudes from the opposite end of this sword, beyond the black leather grip where a pommel normally would be. (remaining concealed within its own black leather sheath until needed) which of course comes in handy when serving justice to multiple subjects all at the same time!

Offering a very impressive form for clandestine excursions and compiling the best attributes of many legendary and historic blade styles, there is no better sword to foster justice, than one that is agile, swift, strong and light in hand. Our Battlecore Avenger Sword is a unique and interesting sword that looks great on display, and for those who are seeking something out of the ordinary……. It is an “extreme” and agile weapon with the treacherous and acute ability to lacerate from both ends so we must forewarn those avengers seeking to possess this blade…“wield with caution”! 

Each BattleCore Avenger Sword is handcrafted boasting a high carbon steel hand forged full slab tang blade sharpened at both ends! The slim curved cutting blade is reminiscent of a scimitar with a hand forged blade edged with “ripping” serrations. As aforementioned, the pommel end has been replaced by a secondary cutting blade! Black leather wrap grip and black leather sheath. All this may seem extreme, however is what every Dark Avenger needs!
The design looks great on display but rest assured it has the ability to offer “Swift Justice” and if ever the need should arise… it is there! 

The overall length of this amazing sword is 31 inches. Overall blade length: 31”L and the blade length with double edge: 21”, Tapered Blade tapers: 2’ to 1-1/2” wide. Curved Pommel Blade: 3” to 2”w” Wt: 2-1/4lbs. *

Facts: The term Avenger is seen as one who exacts retribution for an act or injustice by punishing the wrongdoer. Its name derives from old world origins including Middle English: avengen, Old French: avengier and Latin vengier, to vindicate +Latin vindicāre, to claim. 
As humans have an inherent and instinctual need for wanting justice, it is not unusual that the name “Avenger” has been popularized in modern epics as “superheros”. Perhaps even more so than in old fabled tales of yore!
